Our Mission
Second Chances Crazy Cool Consignments has a dual mission:
We, like many stores that sell pre-loved goods aim to reduce the impact of our community on the environment by re-homing items that may otherwise make their way to landfills.

Our grand mission, however, is to educate individuals with disabilities and emotional distresses in the area of job skills in an aim to have them enter whatever comes next in their lives in a more prepared manner.

While step 1 is certainly to ensure that our "classroom" - the store itself - is a viable and solid platform for this portion of our mission, we do have a tentative timeline for the rollout of our educational strategy. Please know this is subject to change and we are completely open to suggestions and advice.
March / April 2026 - Store processes are finalized; staff and existing volunteers (those who were acquainted to the organization as it was being formed and offered services prior to us opening) become well trained on all processes.
April/May 2026 - New volunteers are brought on to fill available slots. We will need general volunteers to help with store processes and educational volunteers to assist our learners. Please fill in this volunteer application if you are interested.
May/June 2026 - Meetings with the following organizations to recruit and finalize learner placements:
-
Goffstown HS
-
IMPACCT Academy
-
Best Buddies Citizens
-
Best Buddies St Anselm
-
Common Actions for Change
-
BHS
-
Suggestions for others?
July / August 2026 - BHS, IMPACCT and CAC learners, if agreements are reached, will be invited to begin onsite job skills education
Sept 2026 - GHS students, if GHS consents, will begin WBL program onsite
